Phew! It’s done!
It took me quite a while to get this room in to shape. I moved all of my studio equipment in to our basement in July.
I had the studio up and running by September. It’s a work in progress, but I love where it’s going. Finally, I have an awesome
space with lots of natural light and everything in its place. For the photography geeks, like me, out there, now I can actually use
my 85mm prime lens. I’m going to check out the 70-200mm lens too, it might just work. In layman’s terms, I’ve got enough
room to move far enough away from my clients to use some of my specialty lenses.
Here are the “Before” photos…
Shudder!
Did I mention I hate unpacking? And while we’re at it, let’s just put “moving” above “low-carb diets”
on the top of my “detest” list. But I digress. I actually feel quite proud of myself for this huge change in my 50s!
I recommend a shake-up like this to every woman. It’s good to embrace change and growth. If we don’t keep moving
(metaphorically), what’s the point? There’s so much I want to experience in this world, and I feel like I can do anything now.
Now back to the pretty studio…
