The last couple of weeks have been CHALLENGING to say the least. It’s the busiest time of the year for me and I have a lot of photoshoots “in the can” waiting to be edited, printed and presented to eager clients. So imagine my gut-wrenching sleepless nights when my computer hard drive started crashing, and I lost the SIM card for my Canadian studio cell phone, which means unhappy people trying to reach me (I’m so sorry).

What’s with that? Just when you need technology to work, it decides that you could use a dose of high pressure and teeth gnashing!!! I’m convinced robots are taking over the world.

So, I had to bite the bullet and buy a new computer and it actually hurt my fingers to type in the credit card number. Thankfully, I’m back up and running (okay, sitting in my office chair on my rear-end, which keeps trying to convince me that it’s “bulking up season”). Gorgeous portraits are being edited. The dogs aren’t looking at me with worry. My kids have came back out of their bedrooms and all’s well in the world.

Today I’m working on the wardrobe and posing set for a “Glam the Dress” shoot for a client who shares my obsession with everything glam and gorgeous. I’ve got Christmas music playing, it’s snowing heavily and I’m surrounded by sparkle, organza and puppies! Weeeeeeeeeeee 🙂
