AMAZING TRANSFORMATIONS

I just never get tired of “Before & After” transformation photos.  Don’t get me wrong.  I don’t ever think anyone looks horrible in their “before” shots.  In fact, I think this young woman, Samara Ripley, looks fresh-faced and lovely in her “before”.  Not too shabby for 9 a.m. with no makeup.

I think it’s ridiculous to use the flogged-to-death tricks for making people look like they’ve hit rock-bottom in their before photos.  It’s just so obvious when the lighting is horrendous, people are frowning and pushing their heads back, so they have three chins.  Hey advertisers…we’re not idiots!

I always ask my clients to smile and pose them properly.  And there’s no way I’m using poor lighting.  I have a reputation to maintain, after all.

But when it comes to the “after” portraits, I don’t hold back.  It’s glamour steroids all the way, baby!!!
