My mother’s tea-length wedding dress was a source of mystery and glamour throughout my childhood. She kept it in a beautiful cedar chest, and I was allowed to try it on whenever I wanted. I forgot about this dress until a few weeks ago, when I discovered the cedar chest tucked away in a closet. It’s time for this delicate lace to have new life breathed in to it, so it will be lovingly hung on a mannequin in my studio. I’m sure many little girls who come with their mothers will want to try it on too. I love you mom!
Such a beautiful heirloom Jennifer ????
Sigh!
